Second Term – Week 2 ILAW Lesson Description

During Second Term, Week 2, learners will continue developing their early literacy, language, and communication skills through meaningful, age-appropriate, and play-based activities. They will engage in listening, speaking, letter recognition, vocabulary development, phonological awareness, and beginning reading and writing activities.

The lessons will provide opportunities for learners to recognize and produce sounds, identify letters and familiar words, participate in songs and stories, describe pictures and objects, and express their ideas and experiences. Activities will encourage active participation, confidence, and enjoyment while strengthening learners’ foundational literacy skills.
