FIVE SENSES

🛠️ Structure and Components:

1. Central Visual Organizer:

   • A chart or mat showing a child’s face/body with lines pointing to:

     • 👀 Eyes – Sight

     • 👂 Ears – Hearing

     • 👃 Nose – Smell

     • 👄 Mouth – Taste

     • ✋ Hands – Touch

2. Color-Coded Sections:

   • Each sense is assigned a different color (e.g., red for sight, blue for hearing, etc.)

   • Students color the body part and matching items using these codes.

3. Manipulative Pieces (Cut & Paste or Velcro):

   • Picture cards of sensory items (e.g., apple, bell, sandpaper, flower, drum).

   • Students sort or place these cards next to the correct sense.

4. Labeling & Matching:

   • Option to add written words or symbols.

   • Match words (e.g., “soft,” “loud,” “sweet”) to appropriate senses.

5. Optional Reflection Section:

   • Students draw or write one thing they experience with each sense.
