Reading Comprehension Intervention for Junior High School

Project B.R.I.D.G.E. (Building Reading through Involvement, Development, Guidance,
and Engagement) is launched in response to the findings of the Philippine Informal
Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI), which revealed a significant gap between students’
reading fluency and their actual comprehension. While many learners in can read texts smoothly, their understanding of what they read remains below the expected level.
